“ I stumbled upon this small, unassuming shop quite by chance. My little son desperately needed the toilet. We went into the little shop to ask if we could use the restroom. The man behind the counter was very friendly and showed us where it was. It smelled so good, and the handwritten menu above the counter looked so appealing, that I couldn't stop thinking about this little shop all day. When my husband came home from work that evening, I told him I'd found a small Italian restaurant in town that I'd like to try. That evening, we ordered pizza and a salad. The pizza dough was divine, the salad so fresh, and the dressing delicious. On our second visit, we had the bruschetta and pizza. The food was more than excellent that day as well. We've never been disappointed on any of our other visits either. Today, we finally treated ourselves to pasta: tagliolini with limoncello sauce and Parma ham. It completely surpassed all our previous meals. Absolutely delicious. And I'm looking forward to all the delicious dishes we'll try there next. ”

“ This is a cozy pizzeria to spend a lovely evening in. I consider the prices to be a bit below average, compared to the quality food you can get, which makes for a killer combo. The location is on the outer side of the main downtown area, but it's still easily reachable. The service can't be better, almost personalized. ”

“ We're not from around here and had actually been looking for a long time in the evening for a restaurant where we could just sit and relax. The owner saw us and approached us immediately. "Come on, we're open, there's something delicious here!" And he was right. It was a small shop with five tables, a menu above the counter with current pasta specials, and then another menu with a wide selection of pizzas and pastas on the table. We started with pizza rolls with herb butter, followed by bruschetta: delicious toasted slices of bread and the tomato mixture separately, so everyone could serve themselves. Afterward, we all had a pizza and didn't regret it. I've rarely had a pizza with so much flavor. The atmosphere there was fantastic – a small shop, but a great ambiance, to which the two gentlemen behind the counter contributed greatly. Neapolitan warmth meets Gelsenkirchen cheekiness – wonderful. Everything worked out perfectly, and if we're ever in Gelsenkirchen again, we'd love to come back. ”
